After a successful field test in mid December, a firmware update for the Reach IP 4G devices will be deployed shortly after the New Year.
The update introduces improvements to the 4G call handling and connection logic, designed to enhance overall call reliability. Key improvements include:
Increased call connection success rates
Improved first-time call connection performance
More consistent call setup under variable network conditions
The update will be deployed remotely and automatically to compatible devices and will be completed within a single day. No user intervention, site visits, or configuration changes will be required.
This will be non-disruptive and won't affect user calls in progress.
